My first blog post

How scary!

I have been contemplating creating a blog for some time, and have finally decided to give it a try. Generally, my website editing skills are non-existent, my marketing skills prevail only in theory, and I have published basically no content for public viewership- essentially, I’m not off to a great start.

That being said, I read and listen to audiobooks for at least an hour or two everyday, I write around 10 pages of text per week, and I am very open-minded to the thoughts and ideas of others. Consequently, a desire arose within me to create a space online where likeminded individuals can meet virtually and collaborate on topics ranging from literature to politics.

This is that space! Welcome to my blog, which is initially called.. collab space, or something like that (honestly, I selected a name in haste, so it will likely change later). Nonetheless, I hope this website attracts the attention of the people I’m aiming to impact, and eagerly look forward to being a part of this as it unfolds.

I will have comments enabled on all my posts (it would be counterintuitive to create a collaboration space and disable comments, wouldn’t it?) so please, share your thoughts if you’re interested!

I aim to create a judgement free zone, where perspectives are developed and horizons are expanded- however, I have been on the internet before, and am aware that some people simply are not kind to others, especially online. Therefore, I will exercise my administrative god powers to protect commenters (if needed) and foster a welcoming atmosphere to the maximum extent that I am able to do so.
